Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most IUPUI academic programs will go remote following Thanksgiving 2020, and students will not return to campus until February 2021. Many employees will be working remotely, and most university buildings will be only be accessible by keycard.
While the physical campus population will be reduced this winter, IUPUI Mail Services will continue to operate, making deliveries to most mailrooms and departments on a weekly basis.
Several units have made a special arrangement with IUPUI Mail Services to adjust the frequency of mail delivery. If your department has such an arrangement, we will reach out to you directly to confirm how mail should be delivered during this time.
Below is the delivery schedule for each building we serve. We will both deliver and pick up mail from your unit on the assigned day. Any packages delivered to IUPUI Mail Services will be delivered to the appropriate building on the scheduled day.

If you do not see your building’s name on the list and need to coordinate picking up your mail, or if you do not currently have but will need a special mail delivery arrangement during this time, please contact Keith Battle.
Additionally, we have made the following changes to our mailing guidelines for Winter 2020:
Units served directly by USPS will now be served by IUPUI Mail Services during this time period.
Any packages requiring immediate handling - such as express, overnight or refrigerated items - should not be sent through IUPUI Mail Services. IU Public Safety policy requires a 24-hour hold on all mail before any additional processing can occur; therfore, other arrangements by the sender outside of IUPUI Mail Services should be made.
To best serve our campus and prioritize everyone's health and safety, we kindly request all mail we handle is essential, business-related, and does not require a signature.
IU issued guidance on shipping items to non-IU addresses, greatly diminishing the need to be on campus; please see the Buy.IU newsletter for more details.
